College Park’s Six West Mixed-Use Project Development
The Six West development, formerly known as Airport City College Park, involves over 300 acres of City-owned property just west of the historic downtown district and the College Park MARTA station.
The project, which is being developed by College Park’s Business and Industrial Development Authority and Clearly College Park, with public-private partnerships, sits next to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and offers immediate access to Georgia International Convention Center via a new pedestrian bridge.
“The City of College Park and Clearly College Park Development Authority are no strangers to taking measured risk, especially as it pertains to advocating for high-quality development that is inclusive of the entire community,” says Artie Jones III,
College Park Director of Economic Development and Executive Director of Clearly College Park.
“The new Six West development is a prime example of local government collaborating with private sector stakeholders in master planning community assets for continued growth and development.”
This highly walkable community connects visitors to an energizing mix of restaurants and cafes, live music, boutique shops and traditional retail, sports entertainment, a variety of personal services and more. Six West‘s streetscape is surrounded by a 5K walking trail and is further enhanced with a multi-purpose park and generous amounts of green space.
This master-planned development is also an integral part of Aerotropolis Atlanta – the blueprint for transforming the airport vicinity into a dynamic area with multi-modal transportation options and is well-positioned to become an unrivaled live/work/play destination south of Atlanta!
