College Park’s Six West Mixed-Use Project Development
The Six West development, formerly known as Airport City College Park, involves over 300 acres of City-owned property just west of the historic downtown district and the College Park MARTA station.
The project, which is being developed by College Park’s Business and Industrial Development Authority and Clearly College Park, with public-private partnerships, sits next to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and offers immediate access to Georgia International Convention Center via a new pedestrian bridge.

Purple Innovation Plans to Invest $21 million in Henry Co. Manufacturing Facility
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Purple Innovation, Inc. (“Purple”), the comfort technology company known for creating the Purple® Mattress, has selected Henry County for their third U.S. manufacturing facility. Purple plans to make a $21 million investment in this 520,000-square-foot facility, delivering 360 jobs to the area.

Broadband for Georgia
Broadband Services for all Georgians continues to be a challenge. It is a tragedy today that in many rural areas of the state, residents and businesses have no or limited high-speed internet at their fingertips.

Wellmade Flooring Expands Operations, Invests $35 Million in Bartow Co.
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that U.S.-based Wellmade Flooring will invest more than $35 million in expanding its manufacturing facilities to Bartow County, delivering 240 jobs to the area.
Internationally known, Wellmade specializes in the design, production, and distribution of hard surface flooring collections. (more…)

CFL Flooring to Create 300 Jobs, Invest More Than $70 Million in Gordon County
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Creative Flooring Solutions (CFL), a manufacturer of laminate, wood, and luxury vinyl tile will create 300 jobs and invest more than $70 million in a new manufacturing facility in Calhoun.
“We are thrilled that CFL has chosen Gordon County to expand their business operations to more effectively reach their customer base,” said Governor Kemp. “The impact of this announcement will be felt across the region as the company seeks to employ 300 hardworking Georgians.”
