RWDC Industries to Invest $260 Million in Athens-Clarke County Expansion
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that biotechnology company RWDC Industries will invest $260 million in expanding its operations into Athens-Clarke County. This innovative development will create 200 jobs.
“RWDC Industries is a perfect example of Georgians’ creative approach to solving problems and finding great success, thanks in part to state resources like our public university system,” said Governor Kemp. “It’s great to see a Georgia company continue to find ways to make a difference and create innovative opportunities for hardworking Georgians.”

Mannington Mills to Expand, Create 268 Jobs in Gordon County
Governor Brian P. Kemp announced a $22 million expansion by flooring manufacturer Mannington Mills, Inc. in Gordon County due to increased customer demand for domestically produced luxury vinyl flooring. Mannington Mills purchased a 10.5-acre site in Calhoun that will expand upon the company’s manufacturing presence in the state and create 268 jobs.
“This expansion is more great news for Northwest Georgia and a testament to existing industries in our state receiving a major return on their investments,” said Governor Kemp. “I appreciate Mannington’s continued dedication to the hardworking Georgians in our skilled workforce in the area and congratulate the community on this exciting announcement.”

Novalis Innovative Flooring Announces First US Production Facility
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Novalis Innovative Flooring will build its first U.S. production facility in Whitfield County. Novalis is investing $30 million dollars in the project and expects to create at least 120 new jobs.

Enchem to Build Two Facilities in Jackson County, Create 300 Jobs
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced Korean manufacturer Enchem Ltd. will build two new manufacturing plants in Jackson County, Georgia, creating more than 300 jobs and investing $61.35 million in the project.
“I am excited to welcome Enchem to Georgia,” said Governor Kemp. “Building on the success of SK Innovation in Jackson County, this is exactly the type of quality project that we hoped to attract when visiting Korea on our first international trip last June. As the market for electric vehicles and batteries continues its rapid growth, it’s great to see the industry building a hub here in Georgia. Our strong international partnerships – like the one we have established between South Korea and Georgia – will continue to benefit hardworking Georgians and create opportunities throughout the state in the years ahead.”

Amazon to Launch Fulfillment Center in Coweta Co.
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Amazon will expand its Georgia presence by launching a new fulfillment center in Newnan. Starting on day one, the e-commerce retail company will create 500 new, full-time jobs with industry-leading pay and comprehensive benefits at the new facility.
