Plethora to Open Manufacturing Facility in Marietta, GA

Governor Brian P. Kemp announced today that Plethora, a leader in on-demand manufacturing of quality custom prototypes and end-production parts, will create 250 jobs and invest more than $17 million in a new production facility in Marietta.

“We are excited to welcome Plethora to Georgia,” said Governor Brian Kemp. “Our pro-business climate, abundant and advanced workforce, global accessibility, and access to world-class colleges and universities are only a few of the reasons why manufacturers are finding success in the Peach State. Over the past ten years, Georgia’s manufacturing GDP growth has outpaced the national rate, and with announcements like this one, we don’t see any signs of it slowing down.”

Hitachi Automotive Systems America expanding in Monroe, GA

Today, Governor Brian P. Kemp announced that Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc., a Tier 1 supplier of world-class products to the global automotive market, is planning to create 100 jobs and invest at least $100 million – with potential up to $330 million – in an expansion at their existing facility in Monroe, Georgia.

“We are excited that Hitachi chose to expand their facility in Monroe,” said Governor Kemp. “Hitachi has been a great partner to the Walton County community by investing in employees and creating jobs for more than twenty years. Chick-fil-A brings first company-owned distribution center to Cartersville, GA

Today Governor Brian P. Kemp announced that Chick-fil-A, among the nation’s top quick-service restaurant chains, will begin construction on the chain’s first company-owned distribution center in Cartersville that will create up to 300 jobs.

“Today is an exciting day as we announce that Chick-fil-A – one of our state’s most successful companies and a hometown favorite – will create 300 brand-new jobs for hardworking Georgians in Bartow County,” said Governor Brian Kemp. “To be able to say that Georgia is now home to Chick-fil-A’s first ever company-owned distribution facility is a big win for us and highlights our world-class logistics infrastructure. I am thrilled that Chick-fil-A will also take advantage of our Quick Start program to provide workforce training for new hires.”

EarthFresh expands to College Park, GA

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that EarthFresh, a leading Canadian produce company, will create 100 jobs and invest $22 million in an advanced technology packing plant and distribution center in College Park.

PVH Corp. to create 575 jobs, invest $77.6 million in Palmetto, GA

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that PVH Corp., one of the largest global apparel companies, will create 575 jobs and invest $77.6 million in a new distribution and warehouse facility in Palmetto, Georgia.
